Join the Gallivanters for a tour of picturesque Pennsbury Manor on the site of William Penn's estate on the Delaware River in Buck's County. Pennsbury was recreated on the 43 acre estate based on archeological finds, written documents and research of the period. The Manor is furnished with an outstanding collection of late 17th century furniture and objects. The gardens contain heritage plants of the period. Following the tour join us for an a la carte lunch at the King George II Inn in nearby Bristol. The Inn offers casual food and drinks overlooking the Delaware River. Cost of the tour is $10 for members and $15 for guests. Pennsbury is approximately 45 minutes from the Main Line. Carpools will be organized as requested.
