We have many activities to choose from.  Look over the list below and the details that follow.  Don't see what you're interested in?  We're always open to new ideas and we would be happy to assist you with advice and support to set up a new activity or to take it on a trial run with a Now and Then Event.  The Now and Then Events are events that are held one or more times a year when a club member is willing to organize an activity for other members.  If you love to ski, then you might organize a ski-day or weekend.  If you love the theater, you might organize a trip to a local theater or a show in New York.  For more information contact Activities.

For the adventurous in spirit!  If you enjoy discovering local attractions and hidden gems, this group is for you.  The Gallivanters' monthly adventures take you to museums, historic houses and gardens, special events and much more.  Recent visits include Mt. Cuba, the Wharton Esherick House, Glencairn, Jenkins Arboretum, Franklin Institute, Rosenbach Museum, City Hall and the Reading Terminal. The events include lunch and assistance with carpooling if needed.  These events take into account school hours so members can be home in time for school drop-off and pick-up. Join-up events are also planned for the upcoming year.  Join-up events are unstructured events, often on a weekend, where a member invites members to join her in a particular activity.  Each member makes her own arrangements but has the company of other members for the event.  Recent events include a Mural Arts walking tour and the Fairmont Holiday trolley tour. contact Gallivanters
