Join the Gallivanters for a peek at a Philadelphia hidden  gem.  We will begin with a private tour of the Rosenbach Museum and Library at 2010 Delancey Place in Philadelphia at 10:15AM on March 21. This unique museum located in a Rittenhouse Square 1860's townhouse provides an intimate setting for the Rosenbach brothers' collections of rare books, manuscripts, furniture, silver, paintings, prints, drawings and sculpture.  This is a book lovers delight! The tour will include a viewing of some of the Museum’s rare books including James Joyce's manuscript for Ulysses.. Following the tour around 12 we will walk approximately 4 blocks to Rittenhouse Square for an a la carte lunch at Parc  at 227 S 18th St at 12:15.  Parc is a highly rated French bistro which recalls the chic bistros of Paris.   Registration is limited to 20 and  a nonrefundable registration  fee is required by March 15.  The cost is $20 per person($25 for nonmembers) for the tour.  We plan to take the train into Suburban Station and walk over, or taxi if you prefer,  to the  Rosenbach.
