Join the Gallivanters for a peek at a Philadelphia hidden  gem.  We will begin with a private tour of the Rosenbach Museum and Library at 2010 Delancey Place in Philadelphia at 10:15AM on March 21. This unique museum located in a Rittenhouse Square 1860's townhouse provides an intimate setting for the Rosenbach brothers' collections of rare books, manuscripts, furniture, silver, paintings, prints, drawings and sculpture.  This is a book lovers delight! The tour will include a viewing of some of the Museum’s rare books including James Joyce's manuscript for Ulysses.. Following the tour around 12 we will walk approximately 4 blocks to Rittenhouse Square for an a la carte lunch at Parc  at 227 S 18th St at 12:15.  Parc is a highly rated French bistro which recalls the chic bistros of Paris.   Registration is limited to 20 and  a nonrefundable registration  fee is required by March 15.  The cost is $20 per person($25 for nonmembers) for the tour.  We plan to take the train into Suburban Station and walk over, or taxi if you prefer,  to the  Rosenbach. For questions contact Carol Banford.  Register at www.mainlinenewcomers.org.
