Taste – Memories of a Good Meal by Alon Shaya
A quote from the cookbook memories of a good meal by Alon Shaya:
“Sharing a meal is one of the purest expressions of respect and hospitality. Entering someone’s kitchen is often akin to being invited into their heart. Food has the power to create true connection.“
This book was inspired by stories of World War II survival across the world where food played a profound role in many people’s lives as it was a form of escape, a source of hope, a connection to faith, culture, and home. These are stories and recipes come from Austria, France, Dominican Republic, Poland, and the Navajo in the United States.
Donna will lead the discussion on the recipes as in the past!
