Activities

We have many activities to choose from.  Look over the list below and the details that follow.  Don't see what you're interested in?  We're always open to new ideas and we would be happy to assist you with advice and support to set up a new activity or to take it on a trial run with a Join Up event.  The  Join Ups are events that are held one or more times a year when a club member is willing to organize an activity for other members.  If you love to ski, then you might organize a ski-day or weekend.  If you love the theater, you might organize a trip to a local theater or a show in New York.  For more information contact Activities.

Canasta

Canasta is a fun card game of melds and points originating in Uruguay and is usually played at a table of four. The game uses two standard decks of cards.  We play with Modern American Canasta rules and, while it all sounds confusing at first, it's great strategic fun once you learn how to play! We are happy to teach you if you're new to Canasta or need a refresher.
